ABOUT KRISTI SWIGER

Kristi is an American singer, actress and songwriter based out of Charlotte, NC. She has studied Musical Theatre at Anderson University(IN), as well as, Winthrop University. From an early age, Kristi knew that the arts played a huge part in her personal and professional development.

In Kristi's high school production of All Shook Up, where she played the character Natalie, her passion and decision to pursue musical theatre as a career were cemented.

You may have seen Kristi performing at Cedar Point in their Halloweekend show "Butchers of Rock" as the electrifying front woman or in Cedar Point's new show, "class of '99" as the fashionable Leeza or at Carowinds in shows such as Carolina Rocks, Queen's Ball, Sparkle City Swing Machine, as 'Smarty Marty' in Beach Blanket Beagle and many more. Kristi has also been seen in Breaking & Entering's production of William Shakespeare's As You Like It in Prospect Park. She also appeared as Martha in The Secret Theatre's Off-Off Broadway production of Spring Awakening in New York, NY. Other credits include Caroline in Charlotte's Off-Broadway Staged Reading of The Best Of Everything, Truvy in of Steel Magnolias, Tracy Turnblad in the musical Hairspray, Wendla Bergmann in Spring Awakening, and Sylvia in Tribes by Nina Raine.
